Books Books Books!

One of my favorite things besides photography is reading. There is nothing like spending a rainy day, curled up on the couch with a good book. My taste in books ranges anywheres from Harry Potter to Nicholas Sparks “The Notebook” to a biography or anything by Mitch Albom. Speaking of Mitch Albom, I think my favorite read of his was “The Five People You Meet in Heaven”, which I think I’ll reread sometime soon. Anyways, I had this photo, one of the first I kind of liked out of my 5D when I started playing around with it. I feel this photo represents what that amazing camera can do as far as depth of field. The photo happens to be of my next read after I finish the last Harry Potter (I know I know.. I am way behind). If you haven’t heard of “My Stroke of Insight” by Jill Bolte Taylor, I recommend you take a peek. (Amazon site: http://www.amazon.com/My-Stroke-Insight-Scientists-Personal/dp/B004HEXSLI/ref=ntt_at_ep_dpi_1) Looks like it’ll be a good read! Anyways, I took this photo with a Canon 5D,  85mm prime lens, at f/1.8, 1/30s at iso 100.
